Carpet Patch Along Wall’s Base Board
Here’s a good example of when carpet repair can really be handy. Because damage was skinny and along a wall, we were able to take a minimal strip of carpeting from a closet to use for patch. Luckily, this patch blended real well, so results are hard to get better than this.
Better Now Than Later
You can probably tell how this damaged area had a lot of potential to get worse if not attended to. It’s very easy for something to snag a hole at, or around, an edge. Looks like this carpet was snagged once already, pulled to the left, and very lucky to have stopped after only about 16”.
